1. What services do you provide?

• Safety For Toddlers a one-stop child safety service. We take the time and guesswork out of baby-proofing your home by offering free in-home child safety evaluations and child-safety device installation. We also help customers with their elder- and pet-proofing needs.

2. Are your evaluations free?

• Yes. Our evaluations are free and usually last one hour.

3. What should I expect during an evaluation?

• One of our trained child-safety consultants will walk with you, room by room, identifying any safety hazards. We’ll also discuss your home-safety objectives. Based on our evaluation and your input, we’ll provide you with a customized quote. You’re under no obligation to buy. Our primary goal is your child’s safety.

4. Can I get a list of your products or a brochure?

• The products we personally recommend for your home will be provided upon completion of the in-home safety evaluation.

5. What kinds of products do you carry?

• We have researched and scrutinized hundreds of child safety devices and continue to keep up on the latest products in the injury prevention market. We have unearthed the best. Much of our product is not sold retail and is distributed only to professional baby-proofers.

6. Do you sell and install custom gates?

• Yes. Our gates are custom configured to suit the needs of most homes. We use custom-mount kits to install gates that attach to railings and walls. The gates are available in white and black and can conform to most size openings.

7. Can you install the gates and latches that I already purchased?

• Safety For Toddlers is insured and we stand behind the product we sell and install. For this reason we only install product that we’re familiar with. If you have product that we use and support, we’re more than happy to install it for you. Please inform the installer of the product you have upon his arrival to your home.

8. Are you insured?

• Yes. Safety For Toddlers carries liability insurance.

9. Do you work weekends?

• We prefer to schedule early or late weekday appointments to accommodate your work schedule. Perhaps a lunch appointment would work?

10. How long does an installation take?

• Installations can take anywhere from one to eight hours. It depends on the size of home and amount of work that needs to be done.

11. Can we do some of the work and let Safety For Toddlers do the hard stuff?

• Yes. Go for it with the easy-to-install child safety devices like latches or padding. Leave the gate and window guard installation to the professionals as improper installation can lead to unnecessary injury and frustrating wall damage.
